Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party results provider. Orange Township Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains the information included in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems create routine server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of access. We review aggregate information to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use this limited information to operate the service, resolve technical problems, measure overall traffic, and improve the reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create profiles of individual visitors.
External Services
Links lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. The receiving service’s policy governs information entered there. Sponsored search results are also supplied by a third party.
Who Might See Your Data
Site hosting and support providers process server-log information for the service. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, but not for unrelated purposes.
How We Protect Your Data
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because the service has no accounts, it does not maintain a visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Requests About Your Data
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data a service maintains. Ohio research identified no generally applicable comprehensive consumer-privacy statute that removes government public records. Because this service keeps little visitor information, a request ordinarily involves the contact mailbox and available server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Records held by Ohio, Delaware County, or Orange Township offices are outside our control and must be addressed to their custodian.
